Paris, France/Nevada City, Calif., February, 8, 2010 - When Taiwanese filmmaker Leon Dai set out to write and direct his new award-winning feature "No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti" (Cannot Live Without You), he was looking for a unique way to tell the story of the special relationship between a father and
his seven year-old daughter.

當台灣導演─戴立忍先生著手拍攝他所自編自導的電影─不能沒有妳─(這部獲得金馬獎最佳影片)時，他設法找尋一種獨特的方式來述說一位父親與他七歲女兒之間的動人情感。

Now that vision is clear. Shot in high-definition black and white over two years and edited on a Grass Valley? EDIUS?, the film has won numerous film festival awards and helped Dai prove that high-quality feature production can be done cost-effectively with the right talent and the right tools.

現在，這個願景變得清晰。歷時兩年，透過Grass Valley EDIUS編輯以高畫質黑白手法呈現整部影片的風貌。這部影片獲得無數的電影節獎項，戴立忍證明了：只要透過適當的工具與天賦，就可以用有限的成本，做出高品質影像的作品。

The feature was shot using various standard-definition and HD video camcorders and edited by Dai on his home workstation running Grass Valley EDIUS 5 editing software. Finished sequences were then output to DVD as TIFF and AAF files, and finally - after audio editing and conforming at the Dobby Lab in Taiwan -printed to 35 mm film.

這部影片拍攝是使用SD和HD高畫質影像的攝錄影機，影片剪輯的部分，則是由戴立忍導演使用Grass Valley EDIUS 5專業級剪輯軟體在家電腦進行編輯。
完成的連續鏡頭則是以TIFF and AAF的輸出格式燒錄成DVD，最後，音效的編輯與則是在台灣的Dobby Lab進行，發行35mm的電影。



The film "Cannot Live Without You," written and directed by Dai, has won many best movie awards at international film festivals, such as the 2009 Taipei Film Festival, Skip City International D-Cinema Festival in Japan, and Durban International Film Festival in South Africa.

在電影"不能沒有你"中擔任編劇和導演的戴立忍，在各大國際電影節中贏得了許多獎項，像是2009台北電影節、金馬獎，以及日本國際電影節、南非的曼德拉電影節。
